Medicinal Garden Planting - Special Work Day

Help Us Plant the Next Chapter of the Native Medicinal Garden

Our Medicinal Garden, on the west side of the KBGA campus, has been going through a major transformation - more space, healthier growth, and room for new plant life. Thanks to our horticulture team and our incredible volunteers, the hard part is done.

Now comes the best part: planting. We're filling the expanded garden with native plants historically used for healing - many with deep roots in Cherokee and other Indigenous traditions - and we could use your help getting them in the ground.

No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get a little dirty. Come plant something that will still be growing years from now, and maybe learn a plant story or two along the way.

Register today to save your spot.
