Enjoy access to our gardens and grounds for photography sessions by purchasing either a 1-Day or Unlimited Annual Photography Pass. The purchase of a photography pass makes an important contribution toward maintaining the beautiful grounds that serve as an inspirational setting for your session.

KBGA requires all photographers to have either a 1-Day Pass or an Unlimited Annual Pass. You may purchase these online or at the Howell House Visitors Center, open every day 9 am – 5 pm.

1-Day Pass vs. Unlimited Pass — What’s the Difference?

1-DAY PASS ($50)

The 1-Day Pass is for a one-time planned photo session on a specified date. It is ideal for engagements, family photos, graduations, or other special occasions. 1-Day Pass may be purchased online or at the Howell House Visitors Center. Before your session, stop by the Visitors Center, open every day 9 am – 5 pm, to pick up your photography badge. Please ensure your pass is visible while on the grounds for verification by KBGA staff.

UNLIMITED ANNUAL PASS ($125)

The Unlimited Pass is intended for professional or frequent photographers who plan to use the Garden multiple times throughout the year. It allows unlimited photography sessions over a 12-month period with different clients. Upon purchase, you will receive a lanyard with your pass card. If you purchase online, one will be mailed to you. If you purchase at the Visitors Center, the Front Desk will make a pass for you there. Please ensure your pass is visible while on the grounds for verification by KBGA staff.

A pass is required when the primary purpose of your visit is posed or staged photography, whether professional or non-professional, including:

• Portrait sessions such as weddings, engagements, family, maternity, portfolio, prom, graduation, or cultural celebrations (including Quinceañeras and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs)

• Any visit using the grounds as the primary backdrop or subject for photos

• Use of props, makeup cases, or changes of clothing

• Wedding photography or videography
