Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum is preserving a horticultural legacy and stewarding 12 historic buildings while also providing the critical opportunity to connect with nature just moments away from the heart of the city. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and free and open to the public every day of the year, the Garden serves as a both a distinctive treasure for the local community and a destination for visitors from around the globe.

With educational programming, walking trails, demonstration and display gardens, a vibrant volunteer program, community celebrations, and a picturesque setting in which to mark important life moments, we are nurturing nature-lovers, novice and seasoned gardeners, the next generation of botanists and conservationists, a community of neighbors and friends, and a culturally significant place of beauty that inspires the advancement of ecological diversity and ornamental landscapes.
