Community Gardens
Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum is proud to be home to two community garden programs—the Family Garden and the World Garden. The Family Garden includes 24 raised-bed plots available for annual rental, offering individuals and families the opportunity to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers using organic practices. Nearby, the World Garden features larger in-ground plots that support culturally meaningful food production for individuals and families who have been displaced from their home countries. Rooted in care, connection, and access to land, both gardens foster belonging, food security, and community resilience through the simple and powerful act of growing food.
