We are thrilled to introduce FLORA FRIENDS, a brand new, weekly garden cohort program for 5 to 7-year-olds. This is an outdoor garden education program designed to engage children who are not yet ready to begin kindergarten at 5 or perhaps being taught in a homeschool setting. Flora Friends is designed to cumulatively build knowledge and garden agency in a small group setting. Children will be led by Garden Educator and artist, Ashlee Mays, through the weekly program. Parents will be asked to send a healthy snack with their child each week and make sure they are dressed for all kinds of outdoor adventures and weather.

WHERE: Gather each Friday at Carriage House and explore different gardens on site each week

COST: Sliding scale program fee (plus $100 non-refundable registration fee)

Helpful Information:

The program is designed for children to be dropped off at 9am and picked up at 11am.
Children must be 5 by the first class date and not yet 8 by the last class date.
The classes will be built around inquiry learning and involve exploration, art, science, language skill building, and sensory learning.
