Oftentimes when we think of annual container gardening, we think of the more traditional flowering annuals that your grandmother might have used. However, unusual varieties of herbs like Rosemary, Sage, and Lavender not only add delightful fragrances to your container, but also make a useful culinary addition as well! What better way to maximize your container plantings, especially if you are gardening in a small, urban space?! Join Rachel Dugan, Senior Gardener at KBGA, and learn some of the basic essentials of planting your annual container with fantastic, ornamental herbs! You will make your own, original planter to bring home with you! All materials provided -- just bring your garden gloves! $30 members, $40 non-members. Registration is required. |
